Combining four kids from sunny Arizona, The Summer Set is poised to conquer venues and capture hearts across the country. Brothers Stephen and John Gomez, along with longtime friend Jess Bowen and another local scene veteran Brian Dales, formed the quartet in the spring of 2007. Offering electronically boosted hooks (featuring both Dales and Bowen on vocals) and catchy synthesizer melodies, TSS has the chops to distance themselves from the crowd. The Summer Set recorded their first EP (Love the Love You Have) while still in high school, and made a name for themselves touring the West on the weekends. Their work ethic and quickly accumulated fan-base attracted the notice of several labels, including their current home, The Militia Group. With the release of ...In Color on June 24th, it's safe to say that The Summer Set will be heavy contenders in the battle to win over your stereo in summer 2008 and beyond.
